You Will Not Be Judged!
Updated: Feb 7
There are no Christians in God‘s courtroom. They have all been dismissed and sent with keys to His home.
We once were condemned - defendants before God the Judge. But now we are forgiven - adopted sons and daughters before God the Father.
And yet, most Christians have a hard time believing this…
The accusations come, (which are often true), and we again picture ourselves before a disappointed Judge who has had enough and is finally going to give us what we deserve.
But thanks be to God, this is all in our imagination.
In the greatest turn of events, God the Judge has become to us a Father.
“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)
"As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him." (Psalm 103:13)
These are the kinds of verses we must remember when guilt or shame comes our way. They will send us to God our Father, where we’ll find forgiveness and patience that cannot be exhausted.
